I agree with CC-Ottawa
Disappointed in the same design of circulated Loonie.
I understand non-changing design of the regular loonie, but why to issue the same for commemorative one?
Hope, that the Mint didn't decide to keep this design for all future games.

Yeah, you're right CC-Ottawa. I was thinking of Canada's success in 2010 in Vancouver, but that design clearly isn't applicable to Sochi. Do you have a link to the design that wasn't used?

I ordered mine one the first day they came out and also put in another order for 2 $20 for $20 Geese on the same order to get free shipping, Well I got the $20 for $20 for $40 and the invoice said the Loonie was on back order.
