Coincollector2000 Unfortunately I don't know how to take images or upload them. It looks no different to the other years, except of course the V (7). Has 2 piercings but about AU50 otherwise. I will get it slabbed someday, but I don't want the coin to go anywhere near the US postal system to get to/from the US.

I have collected hammered British coins for some time so my Henry VII Angel, Henry VIII half-sovereign, Edward III and James I would have to be the highlights. That's numismatic value, mind you. If you are thinking more along the lines of bullion then my Mexican 50 Pesos or American double eagle. If someone can give me some tips on loading pictures here, I can post some.

I cannot give the date since it is in a bank box and I cannot see it, but I bought a gold Kiwi (New Zealand coin) in the early 80s.

Mine would be a 2008 Gold Buffalo proof70. Was once working to gain the whole lineup of gold buffs in proof state, but ran out of cash. Now would be a good time to trade some silver to fill out that collection....

Someone requested to see my 50 Peso. I bought it several years ago for $400. Yes, that's right- $400!

Actually, I bought this when gold was around $280. Two of my double eagles were purchased for $300 each in circulated condition, of course. When I bought this 50 Pesos, I took it to the coin club and everyone blasted me for over paying for it lol. "You will never get your money back out of that!", they said. Now they are stuck with State Quarter sets lol.

I have quite a few gold coins, but my most valuable is easily my 1927 St Gauden's Double Eagle. I was 18 when I got it and I had to save up for ages working construction for a terrible wage. I remember one of the jobs I had to work was at this old ladies house, which smelled like pee since she let her dog pee all over the house. I had to chip tile cement off the floor and the heat and stench were almost unbearable. That being said, the Double Eagle was totally worth it.
