That looks like a whole lot of fun checkin them out, a good friend gave me some coins a while back, good feeling and nice thought on their behalf.

I would have a lot of fun going through it,, even more knowing it can cost me whatever "I" like ...some money and say dinners or wine, I gave someone a gold watch and pendant as payment once myself- Its whatever you hav- for your bro- and that is great feeling....I have already spotted a few things going through it....good for yu.....TY for the story and pic's.......tripple wow.

By all means add up the face value of the currency and give it to him in cash.
For the coins a nice dinner would be fine.

Thanks for all the comments. I believe he was kind of into the paper money about 7 years ago. I think he just acquired the other stuff as he went. I believe most of it came from ebay. He had sold his better paper money a few years ago on ebay. I wish I would have known before he did it. I think his interest in collecting it has just gone away.
