I've done a bit of looking on ebay. It seems to be the best place to buy coins with low shipping costs.

Ive used Modern Coin Mart on ebay with good luck. I just saw today they have a roll of ASEs for 475, free shipping, no CC upcharge.

If it's more than a small amount of $, I'd only do business with the big coin shops on ebay, just my 3 cents.

Yes ebay is becoming hard to buy on with all the counterfit coins/bars lately.
The only time I buy there now is for some of the smaller mints silver loafs.

I'd vouch for Modern Coin Mart, as well. Excellent outfit.

I looked at Modern Coin Mart's prices a few weeks ago, they are expensive,

Example 20 1oz sunshine mint rounds
Modern Coin Mart's price $477.08 free shipping
JMBullion price $423.40 free shipping
JMBullion with CC $440.04 free shipping

Thats 2 extra ounces

Im sure Modern Coin Mart are good to deal with and they have a very good selection but huge price difference

My only experience with JMBuliion was last Monday.. I ordered a bunch of "in stock" ASE for what appeared to be a good deal. I still have not received a shipping confirmation.. it just says payment confirmed- you will receive shipping tracking when order is fulfilled. I inquired on Friday and they said they had "heavy traffic" (maybe it was a good deal?) last week and were catching up on shipping.... hmmmmmmmm.. anyone else have this experience?

This is from their website.. I assume the posted time range is to point complaints to.

Order fulfillment times range from a day to a maximum of a month, in addition to any posted delays, although the majority of our orders ship out within two days of approved payment. From there, the delivery time will vary depending on your selected shipping method. To inquire about the availability and shipping dates for specific products, please contact us.

hmmmm.. I placed an "in stock" order with JMBullion on 4/2/2014 and it still has not shipped. I enjoy the free shipping but if it takes much longer for them to ship it then I will probably not be purchasing from them again.

I know I paid $23.68 2 weeks ago for johnson matthey bars(paid with CC) and they went to $23.10 with a CC and now at $23.21. must start buying with check I guess but will have to wait longer for them

Fusion,

I was referring to MCM's ebay auctions. I've never actually been to their website. I just meant I've never had any problems with delivery. Coins are legitimate. And shipping is free. As far as prices go, I set my own, so I consider them quite reasonable... when I win, of course

In Canada, I have had a good online experience with:

https://online.kitco.com/buy/gold-silver-CAD.html
https://www.jandm.com/systemhome.htm
http://www.torontogoldbullion.com/products.html

and in the US, I have order to Canada and I can recommend:

http://www.providentmetals.com/
http://www.apmex.com/
https://www.scottsdalesilver.com/st....php?cat=249

Just keep watching their websites and you will find some nice deals once in a while. One thing I like about APMEX is that they put products on special at the same time that spot drops. I recommend not to deal with new online bullion dealers and those that do not have storefronts.

Just going off what others are saying...

I have used Goldmart before and had a great experience. It took a little while since I had to sent them a check and then wait for it to be approved and then ship out the item, but the coin would just be sitting in a safe anyways.

I also really like MCM. As Silverhawk said, a lot of their stuff is overpriced, but you can find a good deal every now and then. They also have great customer service. A while back I bought 5 libertads and a quarter ounce of gold. I actually had to cancel the order on ebay because the paypal address that was used was for somewhere else that I didnt want to be shipped too. So I got them to cancel my order, refund me, and I reordered the same thing again.

They ended up shipping both orders! But I returned the erroneous order as I do not like taking things I do not deserve or have not earned. There customer service was surprisingly responsive when I talked to them and I have bought from them a few times.

Just always be comparing prices!

Another vote for APMEX and Provident here. Always fair prices and hassle free transactions.

Don't forget aydincoins.com too.

I have used most of the dealers mentioned in this thread from time to time and trust the ones I have used. I suggest bookmarking all dealer you like in a folder and when you are ready & have something in mind, you shop your bookmarked dealers. One dealer may have a better deal today, but someone else might have a better deal tomorrow. All of these dealers have sales frequently and will notify you by email. I have taken advantage of some of these sales. Patience and diligence can be very rewarding.

Good luck!
