SWEET! over $300 worth of silver just for asking a question. That is why I ask every time I am in a bank or credit union. You never know whom is going to drop off coins and the gems you might find.

GREAT SCORE! Congrats! Definitely go back and get the rest, before I die of worry!   Happened to me once when I was picking up my weekly boxes. 19 rolls of halves, and they couldn't wait to get rid of them. I bought them all. 6 of them were filled with silver  , save one clad or so in each roll. Rest of them had lots of BU's.   I always ask about halves and Ikes at banks too. It's great when they're sitting right in the tray, and you can see them, and you wonder, "If I ask her for her halves, will she examine them, and then refuse to give it to me?" After you make the request, every second seems like an hour! The sweat beads on your forehead...then when she finally slides it to you, you think, "I am a genius. Why can't others know what I know?" lol |

It is funny how people don't know that 65' - 70' Kennedy halves are not silver. I went into to a local gas station and the clerk knew all about silver coins. She collected them. One day I walk in and she says, "Hey, I have some Half Dollars someone brought in. Do you want them?" Knowing that she collected silver, I wasn't too excited, but said sure I'll buy them. 2 of the 5 were 40%ers. I looked at her in awe!! and No I did not inform her of her mistake! You nailed it right on the Head!! That is exactly how I feel. I feel like I'm robbing the bank, and I hope someone doesn't realize what I'm doing!! ha ha
