I agree with Muddler, toned very, very nicely after an old cleaning. I'm in at XF

A lot of you hit it right on the nail. ANAC says. Not sure how you tell it was cleaned and retonned. I thought it was toned naturally. It must have been dipped and not wiped. Still my favorite coin.

Sometimes people take the cleaning issue a bit far. I would have no trouble buying a coin like this as it has great eye appeal. Nice pick up for you.

The "cleaning" doesn't bother me at all; I'd be happy to have that coin. The "cleaning" doesn't really detract anything from its eye appeal to me.

Yes. It doesn't bother me either. I just didn't have any idea about the cleaning. And would like to be able to tell when a coin like this has been cleaned. I'm not experienced enough and am learning. Thanks everyone for the thoughts

XF-details looks about right. The surfaces aren't "original" with a cleaning in the past making the raised portions of the design on the obverse and reverse lighter in color and more reflective than on a problem free coin.
