I would not mind having the opportunity to look through all of it just one time.

To me it looks like it was a part of a slightly larger picked through hoard. For a collection that big the shown coins are not that impressive and most look circulated, german marks only a few high grade coins shown. I would think someone with 195k can make a less risky purchase. The Stack's New York logo on most of of coins shown in 2x2 /flips makes me assume this is a partial of the new york hoard? stuff that wont get graded, foreign and junk/scrap silver or odd or less collectable sets. I am not a pro just my opinion.

Wowser. I would not mind getting a hoard like that through inheritance or an estate buyout of maybe 100k or less, if I had the funds.

Interesting to see all the positive comments. This collection has zero interest for me.

For me the fun would be in sorting out the coins I wanted to keep for my own collection and parting out the rest on ebay.......it would be interesting to see what you could get for them selling them one by one. Would take a day or two for sure

so 470 lbs (troy) of pure silver is only 110 grand....(if I did my math right)
Nope. Not even if I could afford it..

This auction pictures are always fun to look at, take a bunch of coins, snap a picture, move the coins around,, snap another pic... so on and so on.

yes, not much a market for foreign coins here in the US outside of being sold for the silver.

Anybody believe the ebay seller's assertion that this "collection" is from a doctor's estate? Perhaps maybe a M.D. who later became a world coin dealer ........

edit: typo

It's possible that this was the accumulation of someone with more disposable income than a focused interest. I concur that it doesn't look like so much a "collection" as rather the result of indiscriminate buying.
