Yellowperch
I just cancelled my order so there should be one more added to the list. Hopefully you are number one on the waiting list...

I just received the catalogue in the mail today. Sooooo many coins ! I think the $20 Autumn Falls is quite nice. The $15 Viking Quest is also interesting. The ducks are cute.
But I'll pass on all of it, except the $200 for $200 maybe. But it's awaiting stock. Oh well...

All September coins are now available at RCM for general public, Canadian Coin & Currency too. As expected no Gold Superman Coin.

For the ducks, there is a change from the previous coins where the silver & cupronickel coins had different designs. These use the same for both. Oh, well, this means I have no desire to buy both. RCM, you lost at least one potential buyer for the silver version.

I agree this is bad... I liked the idea of having the same ducks with different image. I'm pretty sure many people were buying both before and now will only get one.

I wont be buying either. To continue a series when the first 3 are in a nice box and this one isn't killed it for me......

Totally agree doing a box and making a set with it is *totally* ruined by an after-the-fact and boneheaded decision to produce more. I'd much rather see the Harlequin Duck as the next selection in the Birds of Canada, since that set was never displayed in a box. So the Mint has made two stupid decisions--the other being to end the Birds of Canada series. OK, I will stop ranting for now. heheheh

I should receive mine tomorrow.
Can you give us more information about what exactly is different from the online photos? The colors? Relief?

Quote: Not nearly as nice in hand as in the photos online.....pretty disappointed. Sorry for this. I had this feeling, that the coin isn't outstanding as 2013 O Canada 1/2oz Maple Leafs, when I saw the rendered pictures, and decided not to buy. From this series bought "The Grizzle" and "The Goose"

@ Silveriod that disappointing to hear! I was hoping it would be a great coin. I haven't bought any of the series. I'm very disappointed they concluded the birds of Canada series, there's so many outstanding birds not done!

It's not mine.
Solidifier bought it......I though to get it (this coin), when the sub started in 2014, but when saw the pictures - preferred not to rush. I think, it's not "alive" enough.
