Idiots on both sides of the table are part of ebay life. As a Seller, I feel fortunate to only get one every couple of years. The buying idiots don't hang around long when they get blocked. The selling idiots eventually drive themselves out of business.

LOL, great response bkprewitt. I enjoy selling on ebay, but it can be frustrating sometimes.

If anyone happens to harass him it's not my fault.

zxcccxz Quote: My advice is just remove it and write the "grading is subjective, please review for yourself etc." Stuff that most sellers write.

I have to agree with those that say a more toned-down approach might be to your advantage. Even if warranted, a healthy dose of what the bidder deserved has the potential to cause more problems than it solves.

I'm still laughing. Unfortunately, zeros are everywhere and just ran into another one of many...

If you are referring to the 48 Washington then I kinda see where he thinks that. The details are washed out a lot by the flash. That being said I enjoyed the read of your disclaimer.

And one more reason I keep away from ebay. Life is to short to spend any of it arguing with anyone about anything.

On all my listings, I try and say that I'm not a professional, and you should grad the coin yourself, All I can offer is my opinion. Very sad that someone took the time out of their less than productive life to harass you even though they weren't bidding on it. sad, just sad...

Quote:kprewittOh, and now the fourth almost incoherent message has come in with the same ***not family friendly*** joke that wasn't funny the first time and the individual stating that the spelling and grammatical errors were due to texting while driving. What a piece of work: endangering the lives of those on the highway to complain about an ebay listing. And forget the benefit of the doubt I was giving this person in redacting their name above. The ebay user name is "animater9" You're all adults and can do what you want, but I'd advise you block this person as an ebay bidder, especially if you're selling Washington quarters. I'm sure he could really see your photo well on his smart phone. (not) I've added that name to my blocked list. (Life is too short) I might have written your disclaimer, but I doubt if I would have posted it. I'd be afraid of crossing some ebay boundary if I did so. I did smile when reading it.

bkprewitt: While there certainly are grading standards that everyone should follow ( ANA Gradebook), grading does have a subjective element to it and some grades depending upon the series (esp. F-15, VF-35, AU-53, MS/PF-64, and MS/PF-66) can be more subjective that others. I really would not publicly flame the guy. Even if you know he's absolutely wrong you don't know who he or she personally is and what numismatic experience they have. I would add him to the blocked buyer list however. #1 they aren't worth your time. #2 If they are a new collector or otherwise have limited numismatic experience they can buy the ANA Gradebook and Photograde to learn and then #3 If they still have a question they can ask an informative question in a professional and respective manner.
