This one doesn't have the highest guide value but it's the one I've paid the most for.

Although it's not the most I've paid for a coin it currently has the highest guide value.

These 3 are the most expensive coins I have. Paid 4900 for the Morgan, 1000 for the lincoln, and 800 for the nickel. The Morgan is NGC VF25 and the lincoln is PCGS VF30. Bought them about three years ago and am pretty sure I would lose some money on all of them if I needed to sell today.

Jerry, you can't post a picture of a 3 legged Buffalo nickel without showing us the reverse. It's just not fair!

My most expensive (out of pocket) is my 2012 SF 75th anniversary proof ASE set. I can't upload the image from my mobile, but I did post some a few days ago. https://goccf.com/t/185579

Muddler - Your commem is amazing. That looks flawless. I have your generic 1893 Columbian half, and as a Vermonter am eyeing a Vermont commemerative in high grade when budget allows, but that one you posted is gorgeous. Makes me want to go buy mine now!

Fuzzy & Jerryc - Your 1893 morgan is worn but still a nice example. I'm working on an 1893 set and this isn't a great year for morgans, but someday I'll get one. Thanks for posting.

1908 Saint gardens Double Eagle with motto.

I bought it for the price of a 1908 NO Motto Saint, and have since learned that the Motto variety lists for twice the price of the more common NO Motto variety.

Mine is an outlier from the other gold that has passed down in my family. Most is common date $2.5 and $5 gold.

However, we do have an 1851 880 Reeded Humbert $50 slug.
