Osiris, the seller may escape receiving a negative feedback, but cancellation of the transaction will flag the bidder as a non-paying bidder, which may negatively impact their ability to bid on future items where sellers block non-paying bidders.

Actually Cancel Transaction won't but Unpaid will. Depends which choice the seller makes.

I've cancelled a couple of transactions for exactly this reason. No one has blocked me yet!

I stand corrected. Mutual agreement to cancellation won't hurt the bidder. So long as the seller (one who is alleged to game the system for extraordinary profit) plays along.

Bill... that's still not a big problem... simply create a new account if you're having difficulties bidding... but I don't even suspsect that will be a big issue for you.

As a seller you can block bidders that have two or more non payments against them, but not if it is your first offence.

torgemco: I have no idea what your reply has to do with this thread at all...

Bill: I am sorry you have to deal with such a lowlife... And for such a reply I only wish I could look this person in the eye... Winnipeg is a city that can be rough around the edges... it's also still a beautiful place and there are beautiful people.... please don't let this individual be our diplomat...

I would personally report this email... there is no excuse for someone to say such aweful things and if it was up to me I would ban this seller.

just checked all his listings. it appears that he now has civilized shipping costs.
But, that does not at all excuse his behavior.
how about a Black list on ebay sellers on a forum?
