I was struggling with the photos. I know it's in a holder, but the reverse was tough to see.

The black on the obverse is characteristic of environmental damage. The coin looks to have been conserved at some point to address the problem, they did a pretty good job. The coin appears to be in mint state but the pics are a little fuzzy, especially the reverse.

Better photos, I think!

Can you guys add what you think would be a fair price for this coin?

Here is the reveal! Do you think $119 was a fair price?

I think you paid a fair price. You paid less than Gray Sheet prices for MS-60 (Dealer Ask Price is $140). And you have a coin that there were less than a million made!!

$119 sounds alright. Problem examples with uncirculated details have auctioned for roughly in the $100-130 ballpark on Heritage. The most recent MS-60 details: recolored in an ANACS slab sold for $129.25 on 3/3/13.

Good candidate for a crack-out and window sill treatment for a few years.

How about cracking it out and letting it sit in a DANSCO for 50 years?
