While I do love GR58's Dansco albums, I love this picture the best.

I have to agree with Dansco albums and SRD, I really like your Presidential dollar album.

I haven't posted much on CC in a long time, but this thread inspired me! I need to see pictures like these more often, it reinvigorates my enthusiasm for the hobby when I need it! Now I'm going to have to go home and take some pics of my own Dansco collection :)

GR58, in your fourth picture is that a gun safe?
Mister Kairu, good question.

Yeah because basically I wanted to see how people actually kept their coins out. What I have kind of been wondering is how (or if I should at all) have any specific coins out (like a picture frame would) or if people would mostly keep them in the albums and other storage holders. Wanted to get everyone's opinion to see different views to help me decide what I wanted to do with my own. :)

M K ....some people have some very nice sets/coins that can be displayed in open.

I found I don't like doing that ... Not everyone that I let into my house needs to know I have coins.

But that was at a point where I had most of the stuff out to catalog it. I need another one.

I've always wanted a walk-in vault. Like a bank, or Scrooge McDuck. Then you can have everything "out". A 19th century mahogany viewing table with pearl inlay, a few chairs, maybe some throw pillows & a mini fridge.
A guy can dream.

I love the "displays". Especially the Dansco albums. I should try that.

I like the Dansco albums and I have a small safe. I don't really have a desire to "display" my coins for the very reason you mentioned. I need to learn how to take and upload all these nice pics. I will study that thread soon.
