If I am not correct, I hope someone will correct me, but this is a replica/counterfeit of 1872 Trade dollar Pattern coin. From my understanding, only 6 actual pattern coins were made.

I highly doubt this income of the 6 real coins, owned by an ebay seller in Armenia with limited feedback.

Item is located in Armenia. Nothing against Armenia per se, but 'nuff said.

Put a huge bid in and don't pay.
You can't get a neg.
If a few US bidders put bids in together he might have problems getting the fees back.

It's a scam to get other people to bid high on a worthless coin. The seller's buddies (or even the seller himself, under a different name) bid high with the hope that innocent (though dumb) people will think it's for real and bid accordingly. If nobody else bids, the seller--or his buddies--is not out anything.

The bidder in question here has bid on - and won - 15 items. Yet he has only one Feedback. Odd, don't you think?

And of course, returns not accepted by yet another ethical seller.

Wait till the winning bidder finds out it's not genuine.

What's really interesting is this. The coin hobby act laws do not apply to Armenia. The seller can send the coin to the US buyer, but, the US buyer is obligated. under law, to destroy the coin. The buyer also can not send the coin back to the seller as that is considered using the mail to commit a criminal act. The buyer would have to stamp "copy" into the coin if he/she wishes to legally keep or resell the item.

And check out his feedback as a buyer. There are about three or four different comments from different "sellers" that keep repeating themselves, over and over and over.

What a joke. Let the buyer (if the buyer is even real) get burned on it.
