So now we get a 'last strike' designation? Just before they pull a die pair from use, the last few coins have then enhanced surface worn down to normal or even PL... quick: new label!!

Maybe they can just cast coins and then a simple lable can be made for the few coins that they actually strike. Then they can just abbreviate it to " strike"

Instead, those JFK's look to me like a hazed 1970's Proof coin just freed from its OGP..
Ouch!

Couldn't disagree more on the JFK enhanced... I think its the nicest coin in the set! The reverse proof just looks weird somehow, the regular proof and uncirculated look as expected... the enhanced has an almost ethereal look that is way cool.

I think there is a lot of variety in how the Enhanced coins turned out depending on where in the run the coin was minted. Mine just look like a milky halo around Kennedy with lots of hairline scratches in the fields. Quite honestly mine look like a proof coin that was rubbed with baking soda.

Definitely no halo on mine. Clean, slightly matte surface with more heavily frosted or mirrored devices.

With this, I should agree.

Seems that finding a true SP70 from each mint will be quite the search.

That is why DMPL Morgans in MS64 or better are so rare and valuable.

Like this, you mean?

It was my birthday present to myself last year and worth every cent in my opinion.

I was comparing side-by-side my Enhanced 2014-D Natives to my 2014-S Native Proofs, and really the Enhanced Native is "almost" a Reverse Proof, lacking only full mirror finish on the devices.

If only the fields on the Enhanced JFK had been finished to the same standards as the Enhanced 2013-W ASE, that would have made for one sweet-looking coin!

Barry, that was simply uncalled for dude!

I love the EU, but the RP is my favorite. As soon as I opened the set I fell in love with it.
