Dont be fooled , its just their marketing ploy, they seem to like only keeping a very limited amount of stock (or make it appear that way) on new releases and then once its "awaiting stock" everyone gets excited , but don't fall for it , Most seasoned collectors can see through that scam now lol.

Yeah, before it meant something (basically a precursor to being tagged a sell-out). If it occurred fairly quickly it would be the signal to the flippers to scour other sources of the coins because they were about to become hot. Now its a desperate attempt to drive excitement. Even low mintages aren't what they used to be. For collectors, they are now actually able to buy anything they want at issue. But, in the process the RCM is killing NCLT. What was the last thing to sell-out before getting out of MC? (Superman II?) "20 PERCENT REDUCTION IN MINTAGE!" - How about a 20% increase in MS state for the uncirculated set?

We'll see. If the stock will not be replenished by Monday afternoon, then it is really gone.

The Wait for Me Daddy Toonies went fast as well. Maybe a smaller number of these sets were put away as uncirculated.

They packed them away in bags at the Bank of Canada to take out in 100 years and sell at higher profit as "hand selected" or "Premium hand selected"

I think they are still making them or have a set date that they start making more etc, I ordered a bunch from CCC the same day we were allowed the "one" pack of coins on the mints site. CCC didn't have any in stock, I am still waiting for my order. I kinda regret buying them now since I really despise the Waffling on the toonies( received the one pack from the mint)Nice coins turned ugly because of the "waffling". There is no need for that "damage" to be continuing, its been 3 years and no fix? Come on its a joke.

If anyone is interested in the "Welcome to the World 2015 Baby 1/2oz coin".
Shoppers Drug Mart @ Warden and Steeles in Toronto has COA 00081/15000.
Just a heads up for low COA hunters. :)

Definitively, nice series by RCM

Heck, Sir William Logan's surveys helped build the foundations of this country, 25 years before confederation....

2017 is also the 100th anniversary of the Leafs (and 50th since they've won the cup). Expect at least the same coins we saw in 2009 for the Habs including a circulation loonie, and a bunch of NCLT.
Sorry SPP - there is no weekly television broadcast of "Geology Night in Canada". It's a crazy world.
