I drop by once per week... Any more often would be creepy. He had one more painted colored ASE, in retrospect acetone would have sorted that. Doh!

He would also see your eagerness to buy and raise his price up. Once a week is probably how I would do it too.

Well, That horse had already well and truely bolted.

I have been in once per week.. And picked up some junk silver at..*ok* prices and occasionally Peace dollars for $18.

Today I got 2 1921 Morgans (one cleaned, one decent) for $18 each and a couple of Walkers... He then he threw 4 dimes, 1 dateless SLQ and two 40% Kennedys in for free. Said they were not selling so I might as well have them...
I was happy..

Maybe more than once a week would be the new plan!

I would had loved everything but the silver eagles haha. I can't justified the premium. I have a proof from my birth year and like five that were given to me but I just don't want any more. The design doesn't appeal to me even though I collect circulated walkers and they are my favorite. Without the toning and the eagle on the mountain it feels soulless to me.

Huh? A $1 premium on ASE's can't be beat, unless you can get them at spot. Tired of paying $3-$5 prems -

I can not get those types of premiums where I live. They still want atleast $25 at the shops around me.

However I can get a silver half dollar for $7. These are ms franklins and XF walkers not absolute junk so I'm busy buying them up.

A silver half dollar only has about $6 melt value.

I've purchased a 50/50 ration between ASE's & Maple Leafs in the past two years. About 180 ounces total.

87 million of these minted over a period of 2 years...these things will only probably be worth silver spot rather than having much numismatic value since the market is flooded with them. I think the mintage should be a fixed amount to add to the collectability.

Wishful thinking, as the demand is just too great.

Well what about spreading it around? I mean have a second bullion coin and maybe split the mintage with that.

I am guilty of buying 1 roll of 2015 ASE.

I don't really need/want all 20 coins though. I am going to sale 15 of them at spot + $2.00 and will probably throw in the air-tite capsule too. Need the cash to pay for other bills/expenses.

I like the idea of having a second bullion coin, maybe the "wings liberty"?

The United States seems to have a limitless supply of silver with these crazy mintages. Looking at our neighbours to the north, Canada has multiple bullion coins series going on and the mintages are relatively on the low side.
