I don't think I could decide on what my favorite "owned" coin is, but I definitely know what my fantasy dream coin would be to own: 1895-P Morgan dollar. |

The first coin I own that comes to mind is my 1798 VG large cent. It's not much to look at, but it's my first and only 18th century coin. And to me, it's what a coin over 200 years old should look like: old and worn!
Suffice to say that if it could talk, it would have much more interesting stories to tell than the same coin in BU condition. Am I right? Am I right?

My fantasy pick would be an 1894-S Barber dime. Of the 24 minted, 15 are still out there somewhere, waiting to be found. |

Fantasy: 1847 Crown (someday......) Owned: either my 1964 Canada dollar or 1867 3CN (both pulled from circulation within the last year), or my 1961 proof Franklin half, or 1930S SLQ. Edited by hcmusicguy
