If I had a deal like that I would eventually buy them all. If your source is selling OBW rolls of 1972 cents for less than 3 bucks ...would you get me ten ?!?!?! There are alot of varieties and errors in most every year - like 1972 - and some years there were no mint sets (82-83) . I could go on and on but I'll leave that to coppercoins ! :) Sounds like a good deal to me if you can pick the dates, and those pure copper cents sure are purty ! |

There are a few years he does not have, my last batch had 59d, 60d. 62d, 62, 63d,68s,70S, 72d, 82d, 82 and a few others.

82 thats the year my son was born I have put him back 2 rolls of each 82-82D gem bu and for me I would like some more Bu wheat rolls

the 1970S has both LD and SD the small dater running around $70.00 in ms condition

1970S small date - around $50-$70 per coin.
Outside chance of 1970S small date doubled dies - in BU, sell for $100 per coin.
many 1970S large date minor doubled dies - $5-$10 per coin - decent chances.
two nice 1970S large date doubled dies, sell for $25-$50 per coin.
very outside chance of 1970S DDO#1, sells for $5,000-$25,000 per BU coin.
One decent RPM for 1970S, but usually found in mint sets...still available in rolls - $10 per coin.
And the rolls are cheap - $1.50-$2.00 each, and while many tubed rolls have been checked for small dates, there are two things to remember. 50% of all dealers can't tell the difference and wouldn't know one if it hit them, and there are still a number of doubled dies to find that almost nobody checks for.

And given a chance at a dozen proof sets from any date...1970S would still be my choice. Second choice would be 1964.

Well I requested the following- 1982, 1980, 72-D, 72, 1971, 1970-S, 1969-S, 68-D,1964, 1963, 1962,1960-D, 1961-D, 1959-D, 1959, 1968-D, 1980-D we will see which ones I get.

1964 has a large number of different doubled dies, some of which are scarce and valuable.
