Contact all, someone has to have them:

Colonial Acres
Gatewest

ebay seller (I had good experience) "l300e" mentions in the listings, that for low cost shipping ready to send coin+COA only, so might be he has.

And if you looking for yourself and not for sale - in opposite, try to combine coins as a group and put them in the some nice box.

The fact they are selling COAs is a little bit sad.
Anyone can match a coin with a COA which was not
sold with the coin originally. Oh well, people will
sell anything they can for a buck.

Dear Northerncoins, I have many of the $20 for $20 dollar silver coins. Many did not come in clamshells so I wish to display each in one.

Actually whats sad is Canada Post shipping costs, you can ship a coin within Canada without a clam shell for as little as $1.80 but cost $11 to $15 with the clam shell as it makes the package over 2mm think , alot of buyers look at shipping cost to decide if they want to buy a coin or not, by the time you pay ebay fees, Paypal fees packaging costs etc , saving $10 on shipping might be the only way to make a profit on some coins.

That said, I have sold a few without the clamshell but put the COA with the coin.

Oh..I see..hmmm I dont think the mint made any clam shells for the $20 for $20s , you might be better off buying a wooden case that holds more then one. Maybe someone here can direct you to what case to use etc, no sure atm.

That or use black foam rings to take up the space around the capsule to fit it to the clamshell.

We had a thread for this.
3 elegant solutions:

1. DIY like SilverWolf - but this requires skills and the time.
2. 2013 O Canada 12-coins box + inserts from the "air-tites" capsules - looks amazing.
3. Old flat RCM case for some small gold coins. This is what I have. Able to display 10 coins (all 2011-2013).

You can always use coin easels. I have done this for my 20 4 20 coin display in my coin cabinet. ebay seller "unigradecoins" has them for about 50c each.

Thanks guys.

Yes, I know that they don't come with cases :( , but I was maybe wondering if there would just be any replacements available of any kind issued by RCM? If needed, I can add a plastic case So it fits better.

Thanks

Oh by the way the 2013 $3 1/4oz silver coin -100th anniversary of the Canadian Arctic Expedition- life in the north 10000 mintage , Whales coin issue price $34.95 has a Maroon clam shell that fits the $20 FOR $20 coins perfectly , I verified this. Might not make it any easier to get one but they are an exact fit.

Possibly other 1/4 oz coins that came with the clam shells will work as well.

"Canada Flag" 1/4oz coin.
It priced CAD 30, but has hard cardboard case (not clamshell).
Buy many of these, give the coins to the kids as a gift and use the boxes.
