I think I may have figured what is off for me, it's the color of the maple leaf. If the leaf is gold gilded, it should look sharp. The blk with the flames does look sharp. I enjoy my enhanced bullion, however, some are just silly, like the maples with animals in centre of leaf. Those just look off for me, however they've found an audience. I will be looking forward to seeing photos. The flames on orange are striking and number are low at least.

Marty,
The Coin Shoppe's Burning Maple is selling CAD$120 + shipping CAD$10 = CAD$130
But there is an 72 hours promotion code that buyer can use on this coin for 20% off. ( code only workable on few new release coins )
So price for Burning Maple is CAD$96 + shipping $10 = CAD$106
But coins were soldout immediately on The Coin Shoppe's website.

Quote: Has anyone got in hand pics of the burning maple? I have a sort of pull me pull you reaction. First of I really liked it, after looking at it for awhile there's something I don't like, I can't put my finger on it. I usually like most of the enhanced bullion. This one I'm 50 / 50 on, and can't explain why. I think it's something with the maple leaf. I really liked the first enigma coin. I think the mints are going overboard with all these enhanced bullion. I love the original enhanced Canadian wildlife series. Now it's just gotten out of hand. There's just too much on the market to deal with!! A little spice is nice, but not the everyday or the whole blood bottle.
It seems when something new is tried and successful them it's applied to everything. Bottom line the world mints are pumping out too much. All in an attempt to catch the collecting $. I had yet to own any of these remake bullion coins. Like anything else, if there's a market, they will pump more out with different variations. I don't like the burning maple. It looks too much like the hunting game poster but with a maple leaf instead of Jennifer Lawrence. Personally, I prefer looking at Jennifer Lawrence.

Sure, GB' price will be better, than you'll buy as singles from the dealers.
But if some really good demand + profit from these is expected - that price also not bad.

Got a good look at the first coin of the WW2 - Battlefront series - the Battle of Britain coin - quite impressive - image stands out - great finish...very well done... Also got a look at the WW1-first coin - not nearly as impressive as the WW2 initial coin.

Orfew; The battle of Britain...the plane jumps off the coin...as does the one behind it with the vapour smoke trail...or contrails...military aviation buffs will love it...including Harrison Ford I bet.

Mint's picture is too flat and didn't reflect your description. Thanks for the detail description.

It's sad that a display box is not available for such a collection.
Also, $90 is A LOT for a "vanilla" silver coin with a 10,000 mintage. Still, the theme interests me (I'm a military aviation/WWII buff) so, because of your comments, I will try to find it somewhere to take a look at it in person before making a decision. Thanks!

For the Masterpieces of Art lovers, "The Coin Shoppe" has brought to us some nice art from the Masters, on top of the 3oz fine silver coins. Mintage - less than 2000 Price - similar with RCM's price per ounce. I do not think, that he has significant stock, so if you like this - better hurry. Addition: Another special item: 2014 1 oz Pure Silver Coin Bar - Solar System - Precious 7 in 1 with Rhodium, Ruthenium, Palladium, Platinum, Gold and Rose Gold FinishFirst in history. Bit nice, overpriced. Very surprised with not low at all mintage (or it is typo mistake). Check it at webstore. http://www.thecoinshoppe.ca/2014-1-...gold-finish/
