@ mcshilling - if you don't mind my asking, when did you send in your order. It's been over 5 weeks now for me and I still haven't heard boo.

I don't mind the coins. for those that are disappointed, not sure what you most looking for in these Toonies. The wait for me toonies is my favourite so far but this isn't bad. It's just a toonie and cost you no extra to get it.

Still nothing. Finally sent off an email. I'm sure that'll do a lot of good.

Waffling is damage in my books. While it is "just a toonie" I wanted to get a few sets in my collection but I have no desire too keep these waffled / damaged coins . There really is no good excuse for the Mint to pump out these waffled coins , terrible quality and unacceptable from a Company such as the RCM.

If you unable to assure quality, while doing edge lettering - do not do it at all. The circulation coins - one of the "visit cards" of the country. And this low quality un-acceptable at all, they looks like "hand-strike" by poor African country community.

Oh well , the farm down the road sells beautiful large brown eggs $3 a dozen,They will get all my John A MacDonald coins untill they run out lol , I have 20 mint packs, should keep me in eggs for sometime.
