I just found a second one last week while roll hunting, I had to look at it 3 times before I actually believed what I was seeing.

I got an ICCS graded 1991 Quarter MS-64, for $13.50, pre tax and delivery. Just to compare.

Very nice CurrencyLooker. I hope to run across these ones some day. You just showed that there is still hope.

I too have never found one in circulation. In 1991 I graduated grade 8, and every year my school took the graduating class on a year-end field trip to Ottawa for a few days. One of the stops was at the mint; no surprises that was my favorite part of the trip. I have been kicking myself ever since for not picking up a roll (or 3!) of quarters. However the most interesting/scarcest quarter I did find in circulation is 1999-P Caribou circa early 2003. I was in my graduating year of university and living in residence...I pulled it out of the change machine right before doing laundry.

/\ you are aware of course thatis also a non-circulation coin, and to take it a step further ot was only issued for testing (and later a part of an expensive "test" set).

Here are the pictures. The 1991, 1867-1992, and 1999 p quarters. As a bonus, two more coins I have found in circulation: 1999p dime and 1999p penny.

I've found 8 over the years (many) ...found only one in pocket change and the rest roll hunting. The last one was a couple years ago...
