Do you think it's genuine Echizento?

It looks OK, but I can' find who issued it. The FX (EX) SC doesn't appear to be a persons name and ROMA is on so many of these coins.

Echizento, the seller says it is a rare Denarius from P. CORNELIUS LENTULUS. Hope that helps.

EX SC is the legend, not the mint mark. I forget what it means (SC being Senatoribus Consulto) but it appears later on the coinage of Vespasian.

Well I'm stumped I searched a large number of images but was not able to come up with the reverse. The obverse is Hercules similar to the one used on coins of P Cornelius Lentulus Marcellins circa 100 BC. But the reverse doesn't match his coins.

So did I echizento. I have a funny feeling about this coin, either it is ultra rare or it is a forgery. Just my two nummi.

Thanks, Guys. The work that you have done has helped me a lot. Thanks to Ben and Whizb4ng, I now know what 'EXSC' means (and who has it).
Ski, like you I could not find a match for the Qbv. with that Rev. All of the 'Quadriga' coins I could find have a 'helmeted' bust on the Obv.
A.M. The seller does say that the coin is 'Rare', (never heard that before), but in this case perhaps it is so rare that there is no recoded entry for it?
Have we exhausted everything, or is there something left that we haven't tried?

It looks to be the P. Cornelius Lentulus obverse and Vespasian reverse.
I can't find a similar example at any major auction house which means I wouldn't trust it at all.

I saw the sellers listing, there are many fake denarii there. So steer clear of it.

Thanks to you all.
Arnoldoe, you must have been posting yours as I was writing my last reply. Good call on that Rev.
Whizb4ng, you and others are right, and I won't waste my money here. I was suspicious when I first saw the 20th Century James Dean hairstyle, but . . . well, you know how it is?
Thank to all of you for your help. I will let someone else get caught with this one.
Beers are on me.

Cornelius Lentulus Marcellins did have coins with that type of obverse, but consistently with the same reverse of a guy receiving a laurel. That combined with the reverse match with the Vespasian coin would make me steer clear of this one.
Edit: Didn't see the second page and this had been resolved, but I agree with the other posters :)
