However, the maple of prosperity is well done. I'm not sure why that series is not extremely popular. The coins are generally well balanced and have incorporate similar design elements yet it seems none has really caught fire.

One word: Price

Not a lot of people can afford to drop $1000 on a coin no matter how nice it is.

And if you want every coin in the series, that will cost you $5000, considering this is the fifth coin in the series.

I was referring to the 1oz silver. The current issue being $98.88 and it's the 7th in the series.

You seem to be talking about the gold 'blessings' coins.

Sorry about that. I got the coins mixed up. Yes I was referring to the gold blessings coin.

The "In Flanders Fields" commemorative coins have been added to the RCM web site - a one-ounce $20 silver coin (plain) and a five-ounce $50 with added colour.

I'm partial to the $20 coin. It has a nice clean design that captures the historical significance of the poem well.

Looks like I'll be making my first RCM purchase since January's commemorative silver dollars.

Interesting that there was about 2 hours of 'advanced notice' from the rep this morning on the Flanders coins. It's supposed to be advance notice on MC release, yet the coins are already available to the public and being sold by at least one dealer with no actual MC advance notice period.

Why do I have/need a rep again?

Anyway, I really think the Mint dropped the ball on the 5oz packaging. A regular maroon clamshell is not enough for this coin at $520 It should have at least been the red plastic imitation wood box they used for the maple anniversary. For that reason, I will look to buy it from a dealer at a modest discount rather than directly from the Mint at full price. There is not much advantage to being a MC member these days anyway so might as well save 5% or more.

I never really purchase from RCM, but I'm subscribed to their email messages in case something good comes.
I got a message, saying, keep an eye on inbox on May 5th. It sounds more like a Masterclub message. I've never gotten something like that before. Any ideas what's coming?

I think May 5th is the public release date for the Looney Tunes coins and other coins of the May release.

RCM has removed two old items from $20-for-$20 section. It means $20-for-$20 Bugs Bunny will posted there next week.

5 cent 5oz coin looks nice but I find it's weird to just own one. I am curious to see the 20z glow in the dark coin

for the people, who didn't buy the coins from this series - they just own the 2012 Big Penny. So why not to get also Big Nickel? It looks like well done one.
Probably the sub at RCM doesn't sells well, so they decided to sell the coins in separate.
