They could also be talking about Shire Post Mint's old Barsoom series, to be fair.
I mean, sure these coins had never actually been on Mars, as far as I know, but their (humorous) backstory does involve them originating from a Martian country.

hmmmmm? unsure why this video isn't taking as I can watch it when through youtube, its just not working after I put the "youtube" tags on it?
