Quote: Tremendous eye appeal, and it wouldn't last long if it ever hit the market. Like, about 5 microseconds. It makes a strong argument between cleanliness and eye appeal for whatever grade it's been assigned. Hmmm, that's what I was thinking SD.. Not sure what's up with this one, did I miss something? Picked it up on GreatCollections yesterday, paid FMV (I think). No one else bid on it.. No fair peeking if you haven't guessed a grade http://www.greatcollections.com/Coin/225465

It is my opinion that you're the only one who didn't miss something.

Here is the grade NGC gave it. The coin has most of the diag. markers of the VAM-5B visible in the pics, (Doubled Date, CC/CC)(178) I-3 R-5, will confirm when it is in hand. In an older Gen4 NGC fatty slab, most of the hologram remains. (rare). I have it at MS64, JMHO. Appreciate all the comments..
