The correct answer is the 1936 Albany (NY) Charter Anniversary Half dollar. My Circulated Example ... PCGS VG10 Another 'story' behind this coin is the live beaver reported to have lived in Gertrude Lathrop studio ... Enjoy - David

The Albany (NY) half dollar is also the answer to a fun numismatic trivia question ... Which United States coins contains the smallest statutory required legend LIBERTY? Observe the reverse of the coin and look below the letters CH of CHARTERED ... note the teeny, tiny legend LIBERTY. David

Antietam.
I had to look it up to be certain, but it was my guess based on what I thought I remembered.

Quote: Robinson became the very last U.S. Senator elected by a state legislature rather than by direct popular vote. The Seventeenth Amendment, which required direct election, took effect on April 8, 1913 rather than the Red Book I went to wiki so my guess is Arkansas

I believe I'm done with this series of questions. The next one I plan on doing is much harder. I will show an image of a part of an early Commemorative and you will need to tell me what coin in the series it is.
