Oh, yes. I almost forgot.

Coins

I won a scholarship offered by my coin club to go to the summer seminar, where I will be studying how to detect counterfeits and altered coins.

Congratulations!

Myself, I went to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Was the easiest when I was in the US Air Force.

I think you made a wise choice given the day and age!

Good luck!

Quite a good year, and your GPA shows you have a good head on your shoulders also. Congratulations... it sounds like you are more than ready for the next great step in life.

Don't mean to bump, but I just came across this topic. I was surprised to read that you did TSA! I'm a TSA alumni and participated for several years in middle and high school. I did the glider contest throughout middle school and the rubber band planes in high school -- I placed first several time. Did you happen to participate in the Formula 1 (F1 in Schools) competition?

So this was my senior year of high school, and what a heckuva year it was.

Wow, that is quite an eventful senior year! I just finished high school here in Canada, and will also be going into engineering (general engineering first year). I played clarinet in our high school band of 37 people (our high school is not very large), which is pretty experienced for its size, though band programs up here in Canada are not what they are like in the US. Our band director was awesome but he is leaving this year to pursue other career options for the moment.

I had a great high school year as well but it is incomparable to your achievements. I want to both congratulate you and wish you a great experience in college! You have a lot going for you and your future!
