Were getting there lol, been quite cool as of lately. First time in ages we had a frost during the Antique fest (Ran May 31st to June 2nd). Been much cooler than normal.

Hey EB! I used to write for the Midland News when I was in college...way back in the day. Now I live in St. Joseph, MI. Welcome to CCF.

Arenac County is pretty close by :) yes, I've been to Collector's World. I visit there once every other month I'd say. It normally turns into an hour or even longer visit because they like to show me what they've added to their personal collection or what they've recently gotten a hold of for the stone. Nice people there. Have you made it to an Antique Fest at the Midland Fair Grounds? It attracts a decent amount of coin dealers. I spend quite a bit of time there myself because I've gotten to know the dealers and enjoy shopping the whole event. You just never know what you are going to run into.

I haven't made it to St Joseph yet. Closest I've come is Kalamazoo. I've got some friends that live there, so I'm out there a couple times a year.

EconBrony, I have been to that fair and do not care for it. If you get to Bay City make sure to go to Flying Eagle coin shop in downtown Bay City. Don and his better half are nice people, been a customer of theirs since 1971. John1

I dont get out to Flying Eagle a whole lot. I see Don at the antique fest every year because he is is a huge real photo post card collector. He buys quite a bit from the post card booth I help setup and take down every year (the owners of the booth are close friends).
He does have quite the selection. I have yet to be able to get him to deal though, been pretty firm on every price, even when I'm looking at buying in quantity :P
