side note, it ticks me off how PCGS doesn't mention cameo on these early specimens...

I know this coin. It sold at Nuphilex auction back in 2011, and then at a Bell Auction in 2013... I'll refrain from spoiling the fun and keep the grade to myself...

I'll take a hit at 67.

There's some nice eye appeal on that

If those marks on the ntop of the neck are on the coin, it'd be more of a 66

Based purely on the picture, it's a HC without question. Would ICCS call it that, who knows. I'd say with fair certainty they would at least designate it "cameo".

There's no limit to what people will pay for eye appeal! Also, there's no better place to buy stuff than a large auction *if* you are careful and observe your set limits.

I agree. $1175 is a list price, but not a transaction price. If I were the buyer, I'd offer him $900-950 max, take it or leave it.
