What are the orange spots on the obverse and orange color on the reverse, or am I looking too hard?

AU or UNC details IMO. Looks like environmental damage, cleaned, and then hit with a copper darkener.

There is something a bit, off, about the color. Hmmm.

I'll say MS-60 but I'm an undergrader and proud of it. The tone looks natural to me but I'd really have to see the coin in hand. The orange splotchiness is just surface toning from sulfides in the air. Very nice coin.

Celticsoul, too bad I did not win the auctions for either of these Indians I posted. If I had, you would have been able to see both in hand!

The orange colors are a bit strange. But I would think 63BN at best as well.

It's alittle hard to tell all of the details from the photos. But worse case is MS62BN and best cast MS63BN. Sorry, I would be more definitive with sharper photos.
Either way it's toned out beautifully and I think it has above average eye appeal, especially for it's technical grade.
