First off, tip my hat to you guys, great job of spotting them and reporting them.
I gotta say, that makes me very sick. I mean unless you dont know what to look at or stop and look, you could get burned very badly.
Not to get off topic,,, but this same sort of thing is running wild in the vintage star wars collecting world, even graded fakes now flooding the market.

Reported the live one, hopefully this gets removed, too many fake NGC AGE lately. People just buy and get burn for not checking it diligently. The 1904 fake gold Liberty don't even look like a MS coin, detail is blown out. Bar Code doesn't register with NGC when I scan it, when I look at the authentic NGC graded coin, its night and day.

Quote: Did some studying, the 2011 on the slab is too bold all smushed on the the fake. Bobby, with your pics of the labels, by following the hyphen rule, the order is left=real, right=fake. Am I correct? Quote: There is a Chinese site that is selling these for $110-120 dollars. It's listed as 90% tungsten. 01GTB, Using tungsten is original and it's heavier than lead or silver. They're really trying to get better. Did the Chinese site identify them as "replica" or anything like that? Were they already slabbed? How did you find the site, anyway?

I did an google image search for "fake gold buffalo" and then started clicking ones that looked fake until I found them.
In the title it did not mention them being fake. In the description one said "use: souvenir" and they are sold in the fake NGC slab.

Another listed from a NY seller. Same certification number as the one sold on the 12th. That's at least the third time that cert number has sold. These jokers must have ordered a shipping container full of these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-W-AMER...em4aefee2729

ugh my head is spinning with all this,, but again, reminds of faked AFA cased star wars vintage toys.
so I guess the moral of the story is buy only from reputable dealers or from the mint OR from within the community from reputable members.
man... well time to study up.
thanks again guys, I commend you all for you hard work and working super hard to find the fakes!
