64. Is there such a thing as semi-PL?

MS-64 PL. It is nearly impossible to tell the level of PL from a picture, but I'll wager that it is just barely makes PL.

I'll go with 65PL, shot 66. Beautiful coin.

64, but can't say it's PL without seeing it in hand.

I would say this is a MS63. It is nice for the grade, however, and I think it would deserve a plus, if submitted since the initiation of plus grading.

MS63+ with a great shot at a PL designation.

That coin is overgraded, quite a bit in my opinion, for a 65.

 I hope you didn't pay 65 money.

I wouldn't read too much into lousy pics, anymore than great pics. You need to see see coins like this in hand to make a proper decision.

Quote: I wouldn't read too much into lousy pics, anymore than great pics. You need to see see coins like this in hand to make a proper decision. That might be true, but these are good pics, they are crisp and show details quite well, including all the hits on this coin. Unless the pics are showing bag marks that aren't actually there, or magnifying their depth, I can't see how this would be a 65.

PCGS probably overlooked this one a bit too much. It's a GSA, and they were probably just slabbing group by group of GSA's.
