Phenomenal in hand! Blazing cartwheel. Any smudges are on the holder except there is a small contact mark across her chin..I saw that in his ebay photos too. Love it :-)

Jealousy forbids.  The original images are indicative of the effect of a high-density yet high-quality dSLR sensor. There are so many receptor sites on the sensor that it's capable of resolving the tiny irregularities on the coin's surface which are reflecting light the "wrong" way. 24-50MP on an APS-C sensor means diffusion or graininess, your choice.  You can ameliorate the effect by shooting RAW and removing chroma noise in postprocessing, but it's at the cost of ultimate sharpness.
