Quote: I want to have something complete.... I get that, but there are a lot of accessible Morgans out there....multiple mints per year in a lot of cases. I guess the incomplete album doesn't bother me as much.

Quote: but there are a lot of accessible Morgans out there Yes there are. I'm about 75% complete with the 8178/8179 with all circulated examples and it doesn't bother me that it will likely never be complete. The only reason I even picked up the date set album is I only lacked 3 coins from being complete with coins I already own. Those three will be nice AU examples someday hopefully soon. I also collect Morgan dollar VAMs and have hundreds and specifically collect 1883-O VAMs and have 47.

I just bought Dansco 7113 nickels and 7100 pennies because you have to start somewhere.

I'll add that on page 1 I noted I was working on my #4 Dansco 7106. Today I'm working on #8 but many holes are empty in albums 3 through 7 because many coins are still in TPG slabs. I have 3-1/2 PCGS boxes full slated to be cracked out.

Most of my albums are finished except for my Dansco 7070 that I have been working on off and on for a decade. And a CAPS 1800's type set that just has a few coins in it.
And I am working on a slabbed set of Indian Head Cents. Projected 8 year project.

I updated my Excel workbook of my coin collection yesterday, and I've added 127 coins to my collection since March 3rd! I am tempted to take screenshots of the Excel spreadsheet list and post them! LOL I currently don't have time to post 127 coin images. Apologies. Some images have already been posted in other threads.

I'm only actively working on two albums at the moment. My 7070 and Dansco Lincoln Cent with proofs. There are two other collections I'm putting together. My Japanese 10 Yen set (1951-Present) and a fun set. It's a 16 coin 1981 set commemorating the royal wedding. Just need one more to complete it.
