$1800 for all? That's WAY too low. The first photo alone is easily that.

Well I worked out a decent or at least I think it was decent deal for the lot. I payed 3000. Now I have to send a few of them of to get graded and decide which ones I'll have to part with.

More than a fair price. Post your results when they come back from being graded.

I'm gonna have to up my post count here so I can make a for sale thread.
I looked at track and price and most of the nationals will be new to the census. They have been stashed away for awhile. The guy I bought them from is digging through some other stuff because he is sure he has more large notes tucked away somewhere. He did pull out 3 1000.00 notes and asked if I would be interested in those too. Now I just need to find an unending supply of spare cash to keep buying.

Well a little update to this thread. 15 notes went out in the mail this morning. I have a few more going out with some others I've accumulated tomorrow. Now it's time to sit and wait. I did sell the 1902 Lackawanna note to a local dealer, it's his hometown and he wasn't gonna let it leave his shop. I made him a fair deal with a "you owe me" clause.

Wow, what a great opportunity and you seem to be grabbing it with both hands.
There's a couple of notes there on my want list but most of it is out of my league. I hope you do OK out of this and manage to hang on to a few without haemorrhaging too much cash.

If all goes according to plan I'll be able to upgrade some of my notes, add a few new notes to my collection, and make a couple of dollars. I've realized you can't keep everything, but holding them for a little while is better than nothing.

I don't really collect bills older than the 1950s, but based on that, your collection is probably worth a couple thousand bucks, definitely over face for those.

No the $1000 notes were all 1934 series.
