I'll be looking for sure. I see I have a few rolls labels 76d t1 so I'll be looking for any possible 66's or higher for sure with those but I'm not holding my breath. I'll update when I do

GR, it was just the shell with no inserts. I have these 22 rolls plus a roll of circulated somewhere. I still need to find 3 bu rolls somewhere to have a complete bu "monster"

I wish I had known about the 1976 TY1 Ike's years ago,
I would have been watching for them.

The last time I went through my Ike box, I found that I
had no 76 TY1's. I know have four, and will be watching
for them. I get most of my Ike's from mint sets.
I have noticed that some coins from the 70's mint sets
are not very good quality.

--------------------------------------------------------

Cascade, if you like, I can watch out for some Ike's,
to help finish the box.

Cascade- for those 3 BU rolls you need to complete the box I would recommend keeping an eye on davenders BU Ike rolls when he has them in an auction format. They always sell for less than his BIN asking prices. I got a BU roll of 1976-P T1 Ikes for $47 in an auction. His BIN price for this roll is $89.99.

EDIT: I got my rolls mixed up. I got the '76-P roll for $47- basically half the BIN price.

GR- in the past I've thought about getting one of those green ASE monster boxes too. I'm curious how Ike rolls will fit into them.

Thanks darth. I'm definitely gonna watch out for P t1 rolls now. Is that an ebay seller?

GR, I don't wanna cramp your style but if you find some I wouldn't mind another surprise lol (jk, but ya hit me up if you come across extras you won't need)

Yes, davenders (Dave Enders) is an ebay seller. I sent you a PM.

Not modern ones. Perhaps some of the classic coins he's sold in the past were cleaned, but this isn't uncommon for sellers with lots of inventory.

Hey guys, so I'm going through some of the loose stacks and I'm pulling out 71d talon head clashes like crazy. I'm up to 5! Some single, some double! I've gotta look into the values of these.
Also, I found a 76d t1 with a tiny peg leg that doesn't match either if the two here:

I'll get pics in a few when I'm done

I like Ikes. I don't think the Eisenhower dollars gets much love. I see at least four with mintages of around 2 million. My brother has a set in BU and Proof but he is not too keen on sorting out the different varieties. How hard is it to get these coins in MS-65 condition? That is where the money shots seem to be. His Dansco set looks impressive to the eye.

Terry, for many bu ike issues ms66/67 is top pop making the jump from 65 significant so being that 65 is the "collector friendly" top end price wise it creates demand for them making for a decent jump from 64 to 65 as well but 66 is usually expensive and ms67's can be moon money

Check out the 2010 article I just posted in a separate thread. It's a good read

Ok guys here's the 76d peg leg I found. I put it up with a regular 76d "leg" for comparison.

What do you think? It kinda looks like the "off at the knees" variety in the pcgs link u put above but not quite. Do you think it's a progression of the 76d "knees" peg leg? Or the same or different?
