Thanks Mcshilling, I added it and a not interested category This may provide some interesting insights for the future of mint direct buying. Its such a change from how excited collectors were in 2012. I was all in until mid 2014.

Great poll.

How about is presently but not interested to be any more?
Think this would hit 90% in the poll from my forum readings.

what is the "master club"

The Masters Club is a customer loyalty/rewards program conducted by the Royal Canadian Mint. Customers who spend $1,000 CAD or more in a 12-month period become members.

Rewards of the club include early access to new releases and free shipping. Those who spend multiple $1,000s may also be given a personal representative to help them with the ongoing purchases.

My membership status is still coasting on my 2014 purchases. Fortunately (I guess?) that gave me lifetime MC membership as I'm not sure if I'll ever re-qualify again!

From the RCM website.
"Lifetime access to membership
Once you've reached PLATINUM PRESTIGE, you'll always be a Masters Club member. This means that even if your annual purchases change significantly, you'll enjoy Masters Club SILVER benefits for life."

I added 2 more categories, I forgot about Lifetime, threw in other just in case I missed something. I wonder if with the changes I need to reset the voting. I am amazed at the amount of responses and the spread. I thought silver or not interested would get the most votes. I didn't think prestige would even get a vote. Obviously some serious money was spent at RCM. So many of us are left owning coins that dropped in value. Hopefully the trend will reverse in coming yrs. Its a good thing most of us aren't needing to sell currently. I appreciate everyones continued participation.

I am shooting for "dirt" category in 2016 as the last and only coins I bought in 2014/2015 was the big coins set(I got lucky ). I don't intend to buy anything going forward and will work on looking to fill gaps in my circulation collection.

A lot of big spenders here on CCF.

Roughly 50% of CCF members spend more than $2000 at the RCM.

Platinim - 26%
Platinum Plus - 20%
Prestige - 6%

Total of 52% have large wallets. The RCM must be very happy with so many people spending money there. But then a lot of them are going to drop out of those tiers if they are going through with their threats to quit the MC program.

I am wowed by the responses to the various polls. Lots of members were very active with the mint, no wonder they ramped up production. It just shows how short sighted they were. Its hard to come up with 300 stunning designs, without doing several repeats. Honestly there were many items I would have bought if prices were better and they weren't crashing in the after market. I do like the incuse & enamel coins. Hopefully dealers are done with commissioning coins. Plus their price gouging crashed my wallet. My brain wouldn't let me justify the price anymore.

I know everyone is talking mintage, however the ghost bride is doing well and its high mintage. Same with color flag & poppy quarters. People on other forum were ordering the quarters by the case. It indicates a great design goes far. It seems price and great design have the most impact.
