I wonder how many there are. Looks like they added another 3000 based on percentages. I assumed there were only 3000 but must have just been the first offering. My interest was just that the price was lower than any other 10oz on ebay. And if the numbers are low maybe collectors will want to pay a premium in the future. But who knows

Initially I thought....hoped it was only 3k made. But wondered why they would leave that very important info out. Now I see it's most likely bullion. But unlike ASE or CML, these are numbered. Maybe get a low or fancy serial number. And don't envision pulling 00000001 out of the package. I asked...it's being held back.

In my opinion, if given the option between standard bullion and bullion that could eventually reap a premium, there's not any extra risk in picking something potentially collectible if the price is competitive. So why not, right?
Key phrase there is: 'if the price is competitive'!

Correct. All my bullion has a "fingers crossed" approach. Some I could of bought for pennies less... but its pennies. And none were key dates!

Saw it at ebay's front page and ordered 10 because I noticed they were about to be sold out and now I regret ordering so much.

I would venture a guess they are going to make as many of these as they can and still call them "limited".
I like silver just as much as the next guy but with silver in the toliet I cant justify 10 ounces, knowing I will find this much cheaper down the road if I wanted it.

That would be nice. I ordered right around 2000 (ish) of the first 3000 bars so I wonder if I will get a year from the 20th or 21st century would be nice.

My first order was bar 34 or 37. But I assume handing out bars in order received would be a logistical nightmare. So I'll get a random pick from the cases and probably get bar 00010542. Scratch that. I think my lowest will be in the 1000 something. With sports cards, numbering "rarities" it's always first/last/players jersey. With silver...first/last and 8 for the Chinese? But watch, I bet it will get silly. john100- It's not like their name is on a pog. It's a precious metal. Not poured in a backyard but made by a government mint. Sure it's unlikey to bring ebay new business, but it's a cross promotion that is more advertising for them. It can only help to have more people see their name, and not just once. But every time that bar is traded. The more you have your name in peoples minds or mouths the more likely they are to use/buy your business. That's why commercials air so many times. It takes some crazy amount of times before the commercial actually sticks in most peoples minds.

ebay is by far the largest auction site, just wondering what it cost for the RCM to use their logo, one would expect the mintage to be in around 100,000 in order to make it worth ebay's time.

At least 10,000 is my guess. I got mine in the mail just now. eb008011 & eb008013. So much for thinking I'd get a year. Still pretty though. Very happy with them.

Mine shipped from Massachusetts about 30 minutes from my house so arrived quick. Don't know if they are all shipping from there or if they have multiple locations.

Does anybody know where to find the total number minted? Or highest serial number you've seen?
