I know coinshoppe has 3% off all coins, how do you get the extra 2% for the b v sm?

I got an email from them saying, "we are offering 5% off for a limited time. Once the code stops working we have surpassed the number of offerings for that coin"

The code is RCM5OFF.

Code no longer works for the gold coin.

You could try Gatewest Coins for 5% off new releases. Although they don't have the coins yet.

Not only is the gold coin back in stock but also the 2 oz coin. From awaiting stock yesterday, it is at 495 coins right now. The count of the gold coin is at 95, three hours after darryldarryl's post.

After one week open to MC members, 2 days to the public and the RCM still can't sell out any of the Super/Batman coins. They keep adding stock. The problem is too high a mintage. For the gold, should have stayed at 2000 coins. For the 2 oz it should be 4000 coins. 4000 is the sweet spot for 2 oz coins. The Moonlight GITDs and the Ukraine Egg coins were all 4000 mintage and they did great.

Canada Post have all the coins. As do Canadian Coin and Currency.

The Coin Shoppe is offering 5% off with coupon code: RCM5OFF . Works with all of the Dawn of Justice coins except the gold.

And another 500 2oz suddenly appeared too. Can't be too hot if that many magically appear.

True about mintages, but with these licensed coins, RCM have to struck as much as possible, to make the licence purchase worth it.

From other hand, for example got the ad from the First Coin Company:
majority of the coins there have the mintage of 999, even less (take a look at The Coin Shoppe - he has some 5oz coin priced CAD 500 - crazy price for some Niue coin, and mintage of 500 only).

Btw, the idea behind low mintage - manufacturer literally says:
"Well....we do not know who will buy our item, but for sure 999 people worldwide will do"

The problem with the coins is the RCM probably has to pay such a high royalty that the bean counters can only justify it by doing such a high mintage.

However, I do believe once world wide coin coin collectors catch wind of the item it will do well.

The coins may not go up immediately in value, but I don't think they'll drop over time.

Only time will tell.

Got my 20/20 Superman Batman coin today. I can barely see Batman, he's so scrunched.

Design needs a bigger coin.

It's bad that the Superman 14k gold is still available on mint.ca, but now you can pick one up using a monthly payment plan.

Worse is that Colonial Acres was selling the Dawn of Justice Gold for $675 during its Canada Sale.
