I have been to a few of the places used so far and most others don't really interest me.

Who else thinks that we should go back to a traditional, 98 Warshington-style quarter? All of these commemoratives are devaluing the current ones in my opinion. What do you think?

If you've been to the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone, sure...they're massive, amazing parks. Lots of visual appeal and are awe-inspiring. But there are some parks/monuments/forests/etc. that don't (and can't) command the kind of wow factor. They're still worth a visit. And then maybe a beer at a local watering hole near by

1. ATB has better designs (IMO) But .... I like them all 2. Not sure what you mean "All of these commemoratives are devaluing the current ones in my opinion." I am not sure what you mean? But ... Washington quarters were not collected anywhere near the level they are today, because of the State quarter program. I feel the quarter program 1999 to date has brought a large number of collectors into the hobby. Collectors that started collecting other series. And ...Because of the State Quarters, the priced of 1932 - 1998 set of quarters have increased in value. ------------------------------------------------------ I think Celticknot is heading in the right direction. Let's vote on having Fuzzy317 jump on his motorcycle and not stop until he has paid a visit to each ATBPark. Then give us a report on which would be the best for us to visit

I was thinking Gaum or American Samoa would be tougher than Hawaii.
I guess if your taking a break from riding, all your member brothers will be stuck not knowing the best sites to visit.

I do not like either. I am liquidating my 2010 2011 ATB and 2009 territory for $0.50 each.

ATB. Much nicer coins.
I don't see many of them in circulation though.

I've been collecting the ATB Quarters out of circulation for the past several years. I like them and see no harm in keeping some that I've gathered at face value but see no appreciation in value in our lifetimes due to the massive mintages. Over the years I've realized I very much dislike State Quarters due to the boring designs, the ATBs are much better artistically.

The ATBs are much better IMO. They definitely learned from the plethora of not great designs in the state program.
And Fuzzy, a break? From riding? Hush your mouth. LOL I dont know that I could do that. I ride year round. Only stuff falling from the sky stops me.Or temps below 20.

I prefer the ATBs, but I like and collect both. In the past few days, I have received a couple of quite nice uncirculated State Quarters in change.
