Looks like a good start. I've been working on this one from time to time for about 4 years now.

Quote:Why do people throw the NIFC halves into circulation? Quote:
I think some of it comes from coin shops. I know sometimes a shop will buy big collection that might have multiples of BU and proof coins. More than they will ever sell. So they buy the NIFC and proof coins for face, then dump them at the banks. And sometimes people buy bags and rolls of NIFC dollars and half dollars, cherry pick the best and spend the rest. For example: https://goccf.com/t/251712

Don't worry about that last page. You'll get it filled before you know it! Beatiful coins!

I actually found a 2010 D today. They page is no longer depressing I buy all the proofs/silver proofs and the rest come from CRH. It is much more fun and rewarding that way.

You should probably just go ahead and buy an album for silver proof quarters and dimes now too it is a reasonable excuse to buy the whole proof set and not just the half, right?

Keep plugging away at it, you're making progress. I went to a coin show today and got the last 3 Kennedy halves I needed. My collection is or was a bit easier though, I only did business strikes (no specials or proofs). I also stopped at 2001, because starting in 2002 the mint did not put the coins into circulation. No album, just using 2X2s and a binder.

Quote: You should probably just go ahead and buy an album for silver proof quarters and dimes now too I already have the albums with proof only issues for Sacagawea, Ikes, quarters, nickels, cents, dimes, Susan B Anthony. I tried cracking proof sets open but don't think I will do it again. It's too hard and the coins that I already have just lying around collecting dust in the 2x2. @batboy, I also thought about doing business strikes only but decided to go with proofs as well. I thought what would I do with the business strike album if I want to go for proofs, so that's why I like proofs. Better buy the album for both now and not regret later.

You're going to have to get another page to add onto that, as it appears to stop around 2012.

Excellent! Quote: And sometimes people buy bags and rolls of NIFC dollars and half dollars, cherry pick the best and spend the rest. I agree.
