And enjoy the fun with your grandchildren. Teach them about errors and varieties as early as you can. The kids have amazing eyesight and skills for catching those after they are taught.

Congrats on havin a little helper, makes it so much...MORE. In my part of the country it's changed from Pap to Papaw, I actually call my Dad Pap, because sometime when I was a kid he told me he didn't, wanna be called papaw. I've called him Pap since. This was before he had grandkids, I realize now his grandkids could call him anything they wanted, and nobody better try to correct em lol.

Awesome! My grandfather was one of the people who encouraged me to build my coin collection. I still remember it fondly!

Cool! My 3 year old Granddaughter only knows that coins go into her piggy. I always make sure I have lots of change for her when she comes over.

And nickels are good to search through. For the most part they haven't been searched out for silver or copper. The War Nickels are still easily found. In fact in the very first roll of nickels there was both a silver War Nickel as well as a buffalo! Have fun. Doing the same with the grandkids! I started at around 3 as well. By watching, they may catch the interest!
