Quote: Which coin (in which grade) are considered 'sleeper' right now? A lot of Ikes can be considered sleepers. My favorites are the '71 and '72 issues plus the '76-P t1 and all the PL's. I like the '73 issues when they're clean. The '76-P tI is a good coin even in nice chBU. Any high grade Ike is a candidate for sleeper status and this even includes the proofs and silvers.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

All this talk about Morgans and Peace and Ikes has given me an idea. How about a Saturday morning kids' cartoon starring two lady coins (Peace and Morgan) and a gentleman coin (Ike) and all the madcap adventures they have together? It could then be revealed that Peace and Morgan are in love with Ike and several episodes could be dedicated to them fighting over him. (Sorta like Betty and Veronica fighting over Archie.) Then there could be serious themes, such as bigotry--but instead of it having to do with race, it could be about silver feeling superior to clad. And proofs feeling superior to circulation coins. And for comic relief, bring in a bumbling Presidential dollar coin (the president will change from episode to episode) that our three main characters good naturedly tease about not really being a dollar since it's so small and made out of a different metal. This could lead to a "is it gold or not?" episode. Lots of possibilities here!
