How Did You Choose Your Avatar?

Though I'm not a fan proper of Parker/Stone (e.g., South Park), I thought Team America was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, mainly because of its brilliant satire of post-9/11 America. My avatar shows up halfway through the flick and sings one of the sweetest and saddest ballads I've ever heard. I'm Ronery, too.

I joined the forum on May 4th, 2015, two days after attending a coin show (I'm going to the same annual show this Saturday). I was interested in English hammered coins, so my first avatar was some sort of hammered piece which was already one of the options. At the show I purchased an Edward III groat, fourth coinage, pre-treaty, struck 1354-55.
I wanted to use it for my avatar but my photography skills were awful at the time, by which I mean even worse than they are now, so I found a picture online of another one of the same type and used that.

I'm considering switching to a coin I purchased in January which will be featured on GTP soon.

Just a stock image here, but on a lot of other forums...The Geico Caveman is my avatar. I like poking fun at the internet

I believe I had a standard image of a Stone Mountain Half as my original avatar, and the current one is a stylized version done by another member. Sorry, but I can't find their name in my notes.
