I've bought and sold with them in person. Never had a problem. Their prices are usually in line with other companies doing the same. They are honest folks.

Thank you again, took advantage of the deal as I was able to use 5% back credit card. With the $ .95 cents back brought the price down to $18.00. Lots of good info people!

Govmint just sent me a bill for 199.50 not 189.95 advertised for 10 silver eagles. Discover Card was charged 199.50 so I had to dispute the charge. Getting my paperwork in order to send to Discover. My advice,"STAY AWAY FROM GOVMINT.COM!"

Why didn't you just call them?

A dispute over $10

Why not just call them and if they don't refund the $10 eat it and move on? Kinda overkill on a knee-jerk reaction, no. You still got a decent deal plus calling them will let you know what happened then go from there but a cc dispute shouldn't be used for such a minor thing. Fyi, If you do it often enough the cc issuer will no longer let you do it or might just cancel the card. It should only be used for gross overcharging or for items you never purchased.

well... I can sympathize with his reaction.

I had a same situation with Westminster Mint, they had a advertised special or sale but the Ad says NOTHING about an extra charge for using your credit card.. I bet the same is happening here.

I dont mind paying what it is, but tell me up front, dont hit me later with it.

It seems some people are used to getting "ripped off." If you don't do anything the," getting away with it crowd;" will get worse until 5 mph over the speed limit becomes 10, then 20, then you have California. In California you usually get horned and flipped off if you drive the speed limit.

Stand up for what's right!

Hey, its your money and your time but Have you called them yet? No need to get go off half-cocked until you get a sense of what actually happened. And if it's in their boiler plate that they charge $10 extra for cc use then your dispute won't hold water. All I'm saying is that for $10 filing a dispute is overkill and your cc company will think the same. Do as you wish though

I have no gun to cock and and water has to have a container to hold it. Some people talk in catch phrases that don't say what they mean. Communication is a problem in the world today.

That's why you should call them on your phone. Never had a problem with them and I know them personally. I'm sure they will correct any mistake if there is one.

I have talked to their employee on the phone. Nothing has been done to correct the overcharge. I was told sometimes when a price change occurs, the billing department doesn't change their price. This is an excuse for a mistake they make to overcharge customers. Some people are easy pray.

Half-cocked means you're acting hastily without all the proper information first. And boiler plate has nothing to do with water, it means the terms you agree to by purchasing their products. I suggest you take a breath, calm down, call them back tommorow or Monday and ask to speak to a supervisor but if you talk to them with the attitude you're displaying here I won't blame them for dragging their feet with you.

Here's a good "catch phrase" as you call it.... You catch more flies with honey than vinegar

One of Govmint sales was for ASE @ $16.95 plus $12.95 shipping. I called them and asked if I could pick them up at there place of business but was told because of security situations this was not permitted. I drive by their place of business all the time. But with risk of being held up I understood.

I don't like flies so why would I want to catch them? A boiler plate holds back heated water. I am being overcharged by them, I'm doing what I must not to be.

I picked up 10 2016 ASE on the $1 or less over spot free shipping deal posted a month or 2 ago on the forum from govmint.com.

No problems with the coins, arrived promptly, no calls, no mailings, no problem.
