i got a tiny circut chip looked to be from a phone in a roll of dimes last week.dunbar counted it for a dime

I just paid $.10 for this really old wooden button. It is larger than a dime, so the roll split there. Complete with thread!  |

Not in a roll, but a bag 'o halves I found an SD chip. Like an idiot I put in in my camera and found some mundane photos. I also found my camera ruined by a virus.
Edit: forgot to add that my camera then infected my laptop.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

I've found quite a bit of plastic play money in cent rolls over the years. I didn't think to take any pictures of them and I threw the plastic play coins out so no pics. Sorry.

I have found a few coin-sized tokens occasionally.
When I was in HS (and worked at a restaurant) I found a game token in a roll of quarters and an identical one from the same joint a few weeks later in another roll. I used them at the arcade since it was not too far away, you do that when you are 16 and making $2.00 an hour.

Does this count? I recently found in a machine-wrapped roll of dimes. I found it about equally as interesting as a silver coin. Since I was edge checking the coins, I thought it was a penny at first, until I realized it was actually smaller than the dimes around it!   |

I love the odd, not gross, things. I mainly search cents and nickels, so if a coin or two is missing I don't lose much. Love when dimes are in cent rolls and you gain 9˘

Those transit tokens are collectible in their own right. My grandfather and my uncle were Chicago bus drivers and always had handfuls of them, they would be provided a certain amount for personal and family use but he walked to the barn so they piled up. When they passed my folks tossed buckets of them since they were no longer accepted.
