That first obverse pic is a killer.

Technically I think 63 but I suspect it got a market grade of 64 due to great eye appeal

I'm in at 63. Reholdered, it might make 63+.

I think it graded MS-64. The coin would be an iffy 64 if it didn't have the really nice toning.

I will go with 63+ since neither 63 nor 64 seem quite right. A 'tweener I'd say.

I didn't know toning would affect grade. toning can affect grade as it relates to eye appeal. especially toning balance. is the toning balanced over the entire coin or just on one side? is the toning pleasant to the eye? is it symmetrical and consistent on each side? your obverse shows a strong eye appeal for balanced toning, however the reverse does not match that which is ok since its balanced itself, however, it would grade higher for eye appeal if both sides were similar the components for grading are - strike - luster - surface preservation - eye appeal

Thanks Panzaldi.
I always figured the condition under the toning determined the grade. Pleasant toning or "Eye appeal" was just an added bonus and adds value on top of given grade.
Learning a little more every day.
