Quote: WOW clean field and cheek. I'm at MS65+ Mont you should have seen how the coins were stored and handled. There were more than 200 Morgans, many of them loose. He had price tags taped to some of them. He would pick them up with his fingers and clang them together. I would have never graded this coin MS, I had it at 58. That is why I have to rely on you all. Thanks

This one is remarkably clean for the way it was stored and I believe it is the toning that is dulling the luster. Adjusted you white balance only.

Based on the photos, can't really go higher than 64 but could certainly be 65 or better in hand if the luster is all there.

That is much closer to in hand. There is some broken luster present. I'm having a more difficult time learning to photograph coins than learning the coins themselves. Very frustrating!

Very hard to tell from the pictures. Very slight rub, would go AU58+ with a very cool die crack.

AU-58+. Just a hint of wear, but really great otherwise. Luster looks decent, but masked by toning imo. It is one of those coins that if you removed just the touch of wear it has, it'd grade MS-64.

Defiantly a 58. This was one heck of a great strike for an O mint Morgan. Look at the eagles right talon, its completely full, and the full center line in the leaf left of the bow.. Those tell me the strike was full, almost to San Fran standards. So what we are seeing here is an O mint with a killer strike that slightly circulated and is mimicking a weak strike.
